Central Division President, McDonald's USA
Mike Andres serves as President of McDonald’s USA’s Central Division. He is responsible for over 4,400 restaurants in the central United States, covering seven geographic regions in 24 states.
Most recently, he served as Vice President and General Manager of the Pacific Sierra Region for McDonald’s USA.
Andres started his McDonald’s career in 1982 as an Assistant Manager for a family owned and operated McDonald’s restaurant in Northern California. He joined the corporation in 1984 in the Marketing department, where he served in regional marketing management positions in the Seattle and Nashville Regions until 1989. He then held a number of operations positions and department head roles in the Nashville Region until being named Regional Vice President of the Albany Region in 1992. In 1996, he was named Regional Vice President of the Chicago North Region.
He was promoted to Senior Vice President and Restaurant Support Officer of the Midwest Division of McDonald’s USA in 1998. In 2000, Mike joined McDonald’s Partner Brand, Boston Market Corporation, and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer until the company was sold in 2007.
