![]() Central Division President, McDonald's USALee Renz is President of McDonald’s USA’s Central Division. In this role he is responsible for over 4,400 restaurants in the central United States, covering 24 states in seven geographic regions. Starting as crew, Mr. Renz has held numerous operations positions within the company during his 40-year career with McDonald's. While serving as Vice President and General Manager of the Heartland Region, they became the first region in the U.S. to roll out and market what is now known as McCafé. Mr. Renz had similar success in the Indianapolis Region while serving as Vice President and General Manager where Mr. Renz’s leadership helped the region break the historic comp sales cycle through a regional partnering program with Owner/Operators. Following those roles, Mr. Renz led the National Beverage Strategy for McDonald’s USA, ensuring that all McDonald’s USA restaurants implemented the industry-leading McCafé beverage menu. Most recently Mr. Renz held the position of Senior Vice President, Restaurant Systems and Chief Restaurant Officer for McDonald’s USA. In this role Mr. Renz oversaw U.S. Restaurant Systems, including: Operations, Innovation, Equipment, Safety and Security, Business Integration, Information Technology and Franchising. Mr. Renz is an executive sponsor of the Officer Development program and has been recognized for numerous awards including the Press On Award from the National Leadership Council in 2009, the U.S. Star Award in 2001, the President's Award in 1991, and the Field Service Excellence Award in 1990. |
