Executive Vice President, Chief Brand and Strategy Officer, McDonald's USA
Kevin oversees all aspects of brand management for McDonald’s USA, including Marketing, Menu, Strategy and Insights. Prior to his current role, Kevin served as the Global Chief Brand Officer for McDonald’s Corporation.
Kevin is a 24-year veteran of McDonald’s with extensive experience in marketing and restaurant operations. He brings this comprehensive system and consumer expertise to his role of aligning more closely all of our key consumer-facing initiatives in order to deliver an even more coherent and powerful brand message in the U.S. marketplace.
Building on a career in advertising and media, Kevin joined McDonald’s in 1989 and eventually became Marketing Officer of McDonald’s Central Division. He moved to the operations side of the business, becoming Vice President and General Manager of the Great Southern Region – where he oversaw nearly 700 restaurants with annual sales exceeding $1.4 billion.
Kevin has also served as Senior Vice President and Restaurant Support Officer for the U.S. West Division. He helped lead the business objectives and overall plans of the West Division, while ensuring strong alignment with the Owner/Operator community and a continuous focus on restaurant excellence.
Kevin’s community involvement includes former service on the boards of the Ronald McDonald House of Memphis, the Louis Carr Internship Foundation and History Makers of Tomorrow. Kevin also was a founding board member of the Ronald McDonald House at Loyola in Chicago. He is currently a member of the Executive Leadership Council as well as WTTW and Off The Street Club Board of Directors.
