President, McDonald's Latin America 

Edgardo Navarro currently serves as President, McDonald’s Latin America. In this role, Edgardo closely collaborates with our Licensees to assist them in driving strong business results, particularly in the critical functional areas of Operations, Development, Finance, Marketing, Strategy, Insights, Supply Chain, Communications and Human Resources. 

Prior to this role, Edgardo served as US Vice President – Multicultural Marketing, where he was responsible for the strategic, ethnic, and field marketing efforts for the US business. This included leading the team responsible for targeted ethnic activations as well as ensuring that an ethnic consumer perspective was understood and applied at all points in the marketing process.   

Before that, he served as the Vice President & General Manager of the Indianapolis Region.  Among his most notable accomplishments was the development of a comprehensive business and marketing plan for the beverage category.  It was through Edgardo's focus and commitment to excellence that the Indianapolis Region consistently achieved one of the highest rates of growth in this important area of our business.

A 19-year McDonald's veteran with strong business and financial acumen, Edgardo has a proven track record for success.  He has held a variety of leadership positions in both the U.S. and Central America including QSC VP for the Houston Region, President McDonald's Central America, Purchasing Director McDonald's Puerto Rico, and Senior Financial Manager for International Purchasing for the Asia-Pacific Division.

Edgardo is the Founder and former President of RMHC Panama.  He also organized RMHC Chapters for El Salvador, Honduras and Costa Rica, served as the Houston Region's Hispanic Lead for Inclusion & Diversity Networks, and was a member of Board of Directors of Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce.

He also served as the Chair of the McDonald’s Hispanic Employee Business Network from 2009 to September 2012 where he focused the efforts of the organization to develop Hispanic talent for McDonald’s.

Edgardo holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) and a MBA (Finance) from the University of Chicago.

Edgardo along with his wife Kenya and sons, Felipe and Nicolas live in the Chicago area.
