Frequently Asked Questions - Training- How much time does it take to complete the training program?
NOTE: The McDonald’s Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) answers all questions regarding our Owner/Operators' opportunities. The FDD is available in electronic format as a .pdf file or as a paper copy. The following list of questions is a brief response to typical inquiries. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between these questions and the FDD, the FDD will control. 
- How much time does it take to complete the training program?
The comprehensive world class training program can be as short as 9 months or as long as 24 months on a part time basis, approximately 20 hours a week. Some candidates who devote more time to the training program may be able to accomplish program objectives in as little as 9 months. The completion of the training program is not based on time but on mastering the skills necessary to operate great restaurants. back to top
