Frequently Asked Questions - Application Process
NOTE: The McDonald’s Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) answers all questions regarding our Owner/Operators' opportunities. The FDD is available in electronic format as a .pdf file or as a paper copy. The following list of questions is a brief response to typical inquiries. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between these questions and the FDD, the FDD will control.
- What happens after I submit my on-line application?
You will receive confirmation that your application has been submitted. We will contact you to indicate our interest in working with you. Selected applicants will be invited to interview in person with us to discuss potential opportunities.
- What is the application process?
If after the mutual interest there is a mutual interest in moving forward in the selection process we will arrange an “in restaurant” evaluation. You will spend 3 days in one of our restaurants where you will be introduced to our restaurant operations systems and procedures. We provide you with the opportunity to experience the fast paced customer focused demands of operating a McDonald's restaurant.
Candidates who successfully complete the 3 day “in restaurant” experience will be invited to a second interview to confirm mutual interest and discuss the training program requirements. The evaluation process includes a thorough review of your personal finances.
